Also this year you can enjoy the traditional perennial seminar, However, it will take place a bit unusual in the fall instead of the usual spring. The reason for this is the theme of this year's seminar, which they are ornamental grasses and their use.
The seminar will be held 22. October (Tuesday), Registration of participants begins in 8:15 in the Great Hall Information and Educational Center Floret Pruhonice (www.floret.cz).
The biggest star of the seminar will be Professor, gardener, garden designer and author of several books Cassian Schmidt, who has more than 25 years of practical experience, including a 18-year career as director of the gardens in Hermannshofu in Weinheim, Germany. Also arriving landscape architect Bettina Jaugstetter, who has his own studio in Germany – jaugstetter-landschaftsarchitektur.de.
Among the speakers will include Czech Jan Kocourek or Adam Baroš, who will present the use of ornamental grasses with us.

09:00 – 09:10 - introduction
09:10 – 12:15 – Cassian Schmidt a Bettina Jaugstetter* – blok 2 lectures on grass and their use
12:30 – 13:30 – lunch
13:30 – 16:00 - afternoon session 3 lectures
- Jan Kocourek (Bambusárium Rosteto) grasses, bamboos…
- Adam Baroš (VÚKOZ, Průhonice) Grasses in mixed perennial plantings
- the third speaker in the hearing – theme unknown, but definitely beneficial.
